what is going on trial talk hope you're all keeping good I wanted to knock up a
quick video for you today I couldn't get on my job today because the decorator is
struggling to get the paper off in preparation for me going round there to
skim some walls so the job's not ready so I thought I'd utilize some of my time
and I get stuck into some of the off the tools tasks that I'm looking to get done
in the business so following on from mine and Craig Wilkinson's podcast that a few
of you probably watch by now if you haven't watched that guys and I'd
suggest doing so if you're looking to make things a bit easier within your
plastering business and start to systematize a lot of the pricing and
quoting process so you can free up your time is the goal so yeah anyway today I'm
looking at ways that I can like I just said reduce the boring repetitive tasks
within the business linked with the quoting the pricing the estimating and
the emailing to and fro and following membership with the elite business
Academy and having a quick look at some of the stuff that they offer and their
guidance that they give a lot of the stuff is based around systematization and
again if you've watched the podcast you'll you'll know what I'm talking about
Craig and peels a lot of the layers for us in the podcast and explains that we need
to be systematizing and if we want to be reducing our working hours within the
businesses so anyway what I'm doing today guys is I'm knocking up a contact for a
customer contact for that I'm going to be implementing into my website now I already
had one of these but it was a bit crap if I'm honest and I wasn't really
utilizing it to its full potential so what I'm doing today and is up I'm getting
this box here added in file image upload into my contact form in the website so as
as you know Steph Lease talked about quoting from pictures recently on a recent chat with
Eric De Valmancy and also a podcast on Fix Radio and if you're not already doing this I know a lot
of you will already do this but probably via WhatsApp and Facebook and stuff like that but what I'm
looking to do guys is every time I get a lead come through in an inquiry I'm going to be capturing
information so as you can see here I've got name email phone number job description job address and
postcode but I've just added this one here file image upload so that they can attach three or four
images of the job direct through my website I'm going to capture all of this information
and what this is going to do for me so I think of it as like a screening process so rather than me
just answering the phone racing around there in the van which might lead to wasted time wasted fuel
if it's not a feasible job or if it's not a job that's going to be a good fit for my business
or it might be a time scale I can't get to and rather than wasting time this is going to create
a screening process as I say that's going to help me to sort of cherry pick the jobs that I'm best
fitted to and that are going to be most profitable so I just wanted to share that with you guys this
call this system's called form builder 123 form builder and I say I'm not affiliated with with
these in any way I'm just sharing what I'm doing in the hope that it might help you guys if you're
looking to systematize some of what you're doing in your business so if you want any more info on this
just drop a comment in and I'm happy to share with you what I'm doing but yeah basically what's going to
happen from now on is while I'm plastering away on the tools all day long and I get a lead coming
through like a phone call for example they're going to get an automatic text message from myself
following a voicemail which will send them straight to this contact form so if they're not already
on this contact form through visiting the website which they should be if they've not visited the
website and they've phoned me from another source or they've got my number from someone else again
they'll be greeted with a voicemail that voicemail will then activate a text message that will be
fired straight to their mobile with a link to my website straight to this form so what I'm trying
to do is all my leads are going to come through this form in one way or another whether it's through
facebook whatsapp the website or even phone calls I'm trying to get I'm trying to create a funnel
basically so every single lead gets fired straight to this form and this form is going to screen all
of my customers weeding out the tire kickers and the time wasters so I hope that's helped you for today
