So in this video today I want to talk to you about your website and the importance of building a website organically. So I've just been talking this morning with a lad off Trial Talk who's got in touch because he wants some questions answered around the tribe. What do we do? How does it work? The usual stuff. He's been self-employed for about six months. He's already signed up to Checker Trade unfortunately and he's quickly realised this is a no-go. It's too expensive. It's not a long-term plan which is why he's contacted me. He's seen some stuff that I do on Trial Talk. He's been speaking to some guy off TikTok who said forget about your website. It's all about video marketing. Websites are dead. They don't work anymore. They don't generate leads. No one goes on websites anymore. It's all about video marketing. Now firstly there's a little bit of truth to what he's been told. Video marketing is the most potent form of marketing today and I've said that myself. It's the fastest most powerful way that you can convert leads, generate leads and convert leads. I'm not disputing that. However do not write off your website or the power of landing pages. So here's why. I want to just show you some results from my own business. As you know I don't talk a good game to you and tell you a load of BS just to get you in this group. Just to get you paying your subscription and just to sweeten you up with BS. What I teach you is actual real strategies that work and I hope that by me showing you actual real results and being transparent like I am now and showing you how it works it kind of firms up your faith in the tribe and what we're trying to do. Okay so you can see this big long list right that I'm sharing with you on on this screen okay. This big long list here are my wintertime leads. Wintertime leads. As you know all of my leads run through a customer contact form through 123 form builder and I want to show you these dates. Now these are wintertime leads so you can see here on the right hand side right we've got October, November, December and then we're coming up now January we've got 1st of January, 7th of January, 8th of January, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 10th, 15th and it goes up and up and up like this. These are the dates that these forms were submitted. Okay now these inquiries that have come in off the internet are all from Warwickshire where I live firstly. They're all through winter as you can see. These are real world genuine inquiries in my local area for the exact service that I'm targeting. It's not BS what I'm talking to you about in this group. This is a mixed bag. This long list here through wintertime. Let's scroll back up and you can see at the very top in bold writing here I've not even opened that lead yet. 4th of February. Right so these are the dates that the leads are coming in. I've not even opened that inquiry yet. So I'll click on there and see what that is. Someone called Gary found me off Facebook. Want some damp proofing done. Got damp patch under the bay window. This is real world leads that come in using free systems. Absolutely free. All this long list here from the last few months that goes on and on and on completely does cost me a penny. There's a small fee on contact and lead form subscription because I customised the form. But the website was free. The form was more or less free. It's just a case of who's going to do the work and who's going to build these systems in their business and who isn't. So let's come back up here where I've typed in contact and lead form to get this list up into my email. This is my email inbox. So if you still don't know how this works you create all these systems and when the leads come in you get an email. Just like you would if you're a member of CheckerTrade, MyBuilder or whoever. Right. You'll get an email that will come through and like I just showed you. You've got all the customer information right in front of you with their contact details. That's it. And you're targeting your local area. But I'm going to put next to contact and lead form. I'm just going to type in. Website. Okay. Website. Website. Now like I said to you a minute ago. All this long list of leads is not all. Obviously not all from a website page. We've got a strategy in the tribe. And the strategy is YouTube. Facebook business. Google business profile. Instagram. TikTok. There's many different ways. And of course your landing pages. So there's. We're spreading our eggs across. There are many different systems here to bring in as the maximize. And the local leads as much as as we can. And zero is paid ads. Just click. Just to make that clear guys. None of this is paid ads. It's all free and organic. So I'm going to come back onto this list. But I've filtered it through now for websites. So you can see in yellow here. I'm not going to click on every single one of these. So I'll bore you to death. And the video will be very, very long winded. But I'm trying to share with you some snapshot information basically. So this here. This is Google Search Console. Right. And this is January performance. The hardest most difficult month. For many of us. And I keep telling you. That winter is my most profitable time of year. What used to be my hardest most difficult months. Are now my most profitable months. It's not BS. Not talking a good game. Not here to sell bullshit that doesn't work. For clicks and for likes. This is genuine honest information from one spread to another. 168 visits guys. 168 visits. Now numbers don't impress anyone. But this is targeted. This is targeted stuff. It's not. It's not. You know. Building a YouTube channel. Trying to get as many views as I can. So that I get paid through ad revenue. It's not that strategy. It's targeted. So I don't necessarily care. That 168. People have viewed. My web pages. All I care about is this list. This list here. It's all I care about. And for people that are saying. Websites are dead. They don't work. They don't generate leads. You need to pay hundreds of pounds a month to Google Ads. If you want website leads. You can't get website leads. These leads are all from my website. Every single one of these is from my website. Admittedly. January. I haven't got hundreds. But let's have a look. So these. Like I say. These are filtered down to website leads. And let's look at the dates. I'll just go back on here. And it's not easy filming on my phone. So. Hang on. So we've got December here. Look. These are the. November. December. Obviously Christmas time is going to drop off. So it dropped off. Around December. But as soon as Christmas was over. These website visits. And. Started trickling in. So I've had a website hit on the 6th. A website hit on the 13th. A website hit. And when I say website hit. I mean. A person. That lives in my area. They want thermal insulation. Or dump proofing. Those are the. The targets. And. They've. Contacted me. Through. My form. They've contacted me. Through my form. So that's the criteria. Okay. And. Like I say. There's only. Probably four or five hits. In January. Or six. There's six hits. In January. One on the 6th. One on the 13th. One on the 15th. One on the 23rd. Okay. So it's not massive numbers. But the point is. This excludes. All of my social media. And YouTube. And video marketing. This is not video marketing. This is. Organic website. Discovery. Where they've just found me on Google. It's not my Google business profile. It's not anything. Anything to do with social media.
